Sad as a little black raincloud...
Mama LL and I babysat Lil' C Saturday night, and somebody--I won't name names *cough*BEEF*cough--found it necessary to take her baby back.
Rude.
No one thought to ask if maybe we'd like to keep him a bit longer. Nobody thought to ask if maybe we were having fun and maybe we didn't want to share his stumpy little legs with anyone just then, hmm? I'm just saying... Next time you should probs ask before you come and take your baby home. But don't be surprised if you find the door double locked. And we'll be too busy jumping on the bed, log rolling, playing hide-and-seek-and-squealing, talking nonsense, putting things in other things, talking into the channel changer like it's a phone, getting up on the couch and then down and then up again and then down again and then up again (*repeat*), and cuddling to hear the doorbell or your incessant knocking.
I'm just saying... Next time I"m keeping him. It's only fair.

I'm sorry. I got the feeling, perhaps from you, that you weren't really into keeping him any later then 9:00. Believe me, with the way I was feeling yesterday, I would have been more then happy for you to keep him a little longer. I will keep this information in mind for the next time. Perhaps on that day, he will wake up at his regular time, 5:00, and then you can see how you really feel about keeping him any later ;)
I'm sooooooooo jealous....i wish someone would give me a nephew....
I answered the phone "no habla english" and then told you to "get your own baby" and to "stop trying to steal mine".
And then I told you I was currently watching him play with the shag throw rug in the bathroom and I was pretty sure he had just said "wow, this is dope" so it was clear we were having one heck of a time...
When can I have him again, hmm? Just make sure he's in a good mood, ready to sleep 8 hours, amiable to a dinner of Goldfish crackers and banana, and interested in cuddles and/or exteme playing. You can do that, can't you?
*wink*
Maybe you should look into having a red-headed urchin of your own.
Just sayin'.
But I warn you, your child may chase you around for your vanilla yogurt too. It's been known to happen at our house.
Bite your tongue!!!
You get used to the smell.
Have you learned nothing...?
